Juncture (2006)

Juncture is a site specific piece created for the Alimachuan: The Emerging Artist as American Fiilipino exhibit at The Contemporary Museum in Hawaii.  Using the term "engagement through displacement" as the impetus - this piece is meant to displace the viewer within the space they are experiencing by means of the path that brought them there.

Juncture is meant to displace the viewer with an environment they are familiar with....but may not have noticed  due to the fallacy of familiarity, complacency and "knowing."
